DAC7311: How to keep the output level ?

Good morning, 

I need to use several DAC on my schematic but I have only one free SPI-Bus, so I will use differents CS pin for each DAC.

When the SYNC signal is put high after 16 clock, does the output keep its level  ?

I need to have several levels on the same time on my board.

    Hi Estelle, 

    Here is the timing diagram for the device:

    Say SYNC for DAC0 is pulled low for 16 clocks, then pulled high. DAC0 will update the output voltage based on the 16-bit data and hold this level until a new command is sent. If the SYNC for DAC1 is pulled low for 16 clocks, the output for DAC1 will remain the same and DAC1 DAC0 will update the output voltage based on the 16-bit data.

    The DAC7311 is a single channel device. You could also consider using a DAC with more output channels in one device to reduce the amount of external SYNC signals you need.
