Part Number: ADS8028
Tool/software:
Hello,
I'm reviewing the ADS8028IRTJT datasheet and have a question about the 'Input current to any pin (except supply), continuous' parameter in the 'ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM RATINGS' table. Since this chip appears to have high-impedance inputs, I'm having trouble understanding how an input pin could draw enough current to cause damage. Could you please provide an example scenario where this could happen? Also, could you offer some guidance on how to interpret this parameter properly?
Thank you,
Patrice
