ADC3908S025: Reset?

Tool/software:

Is reset required to be pulsed for this chip for the pin programming version of the chip (not the SPI)?  If so, what pulse width?  How long after power up?

    Hi Pat,

    Yes, a hardware reset is required. I see it's missing from the datasheet. Typically the reset is in the order of a few hundred ns so I would advise a 1us pulse width. After the hardware reset, you'll still need to wait for around 2k clock cycles for the internal calibration to complete before you can adjust bootstrap pin settings
