ADC12DJ3200: Does Calibrated Sysref Value done with Autosysref Calibration Procedure will vary in single power On:

Part Number: ADC12DJ3200

Tool/software:

Dear Team,

Good Day!!!

I have acquired the sysref value by performing the autosysref calibration procedure as mentioned in the datasheet.

But the sysref value is varying with one power On itself.

Kindly, share the opinion for the above case whether the varying range is acceptable.

Is it required to take sysref value for each power before acquiring ADC Data? or is it enough to do once as done in manual sysref calibration method?.

Regards,

Indujha S

  • Hello Indujha,

The actual value of sysref autocalibration can vary power cycle to power cycle. You should be able to run the calibration once and then over power cycles as long as your adc device clock and sysref clock are coherent to each other you can try and load the sysref calibrated values. Or for simplicity you just run the autocalibration each time as part of you initialization process.

    Thanks,

    Eric
