Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TI-JESD204-IP,
Tool/software:
Hello,
I am working with DAC38RF93 connected to an FPGA in which I am using IP from TI: TI-JESD204-IP.
Configuration of DAC can be shown in these screenshots:
I have also attached the configuration fileDac38rf93.cfg
With this configuration, sometimes the DAC is generating the signal correctly and sometimes not.
Concretely, when I generate a baseband tone at 19.2 MHz, as the NCO is configured to 422.5 MHz, the tone should be generated at 441.7 MHz.
Sometimes, what I get is a multi-tone signal, with frequencies: 422.5 MHz, 422.5 MHz +/- 38.4 MHz, 422.5 MHz +/- 76.8 MHz, 422.5 MHz +/- 115.2 MHz ...
In this case, the sync signal sent to the sending part is ok, and there are no active alarms of any kind.
I actually can`t discard that the problem is in the sending part. But, can you give me any ideas about what can cause such behaviour?
One more thing that I don't understand: the sample frequency of the baseband signal sent to the DAC is 158.4 MHz, but the multi-tone signal is wider than that. How is this possible?
Thanks,
Miguel
