AMC1035: Difference between ENOB capabilities of modulator IC vs. ENOB capabilities of F28388S SDFM

Hi, 

I'm evaluating the sigma-delta modulator IC AMC1035 for potential use. Asking for clarification on the expected performance of the whole circuit in terms of ENOB given OSR=16 and a SINC3 filter. 

The whole circuit: I want to use the SDFM interface (comparator filter unit) in the F28388S processor to filter the modulated bit stream from AMC1035. 

I'm seeing an inconsistency in ENOB capabilities between the AMC1035 datasheet and the F28388S user manual. 

Figure 46 in the AMC1035 datasheet shows at OSR=16 with a SINC3 filter we can expect ~7.5 ENOBs. 

Table 28-7 in the F28388S user manual shows at OSR=16 with a SINC3 filter we can expect 12 ENOBs. 

I may be misunderstanding something in either of the two spec sheets, thank you for any information you can provide.
