ADS1292R: Chip does not react

Part Number: ADS1292R
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2340R5,

Tool/software:

Hello,

I am working on an ECG project which implements the ADS1292R in combination with the CC2340R5.

The ADS1292R does not react to any command.

Below is an example where I send a command to read the register CONFIG2

I appreciate any hint or advice

PS: I did check if the right pins are bond and the currents (AVDD=3V, DVDD=1.8) Slight smile

Best regards

Mo K

  • Hi Mo,

Have you sent the SDATAC command first before reading from registers?

One other "sign of life" check you can do is to probe the DRDYn pin. After supplies ramp and clock is applied, the DRDYn pin will toggle at the default data rate (falling edge to falling edge), assuming the START pin is also pulled high.

    Regards,
