DAC39RF10-SP: Inquiry on how to apply code carrier coherence

Guru 10890 points
Part Number: DAC39RF10-SP

Tool/software:

Hello,

My customer wants to apply the following code carrier coherence to DAC39RF10-SP.

Q1. If you have any reference materials for implementing this feature in DAC39RF10-SP, please share it.

Q2. They thought that they could implement this feature using the JESD204C LSB Synchronization of the DAC39RF10-SP. Is it correct?

Thank you.

JH

  • JH,

We are verifying with our Global Trade Compliance team how we should handle requests coming through a distributor since this device is export controlled.  We should have an answer early this week.

    Regards,

    Geoff

  • Hi Geoff,

Are there any updates for the customer's inquiries?

    Thanks,

    JH

  • JH,

NCO Synchronization is a very straight-forward feature on this DAC.  Please see section 7.3.6.1.2.4 NCO Synchronization (and its preceding parent section, 7.3.6.1.2) along with 7.5.3.69 NCO_SYNC Register description for the specifics.

  • Hi Kyle,

    Thank you for your reply.

The customer would like more clarity from TI regarding the implementation of code carrier coherence feature for the DAC39RF10-SP.

Q1. The customer thinks they can implement this feature with JESD204C LSB synchronization, is this correct?

Q2. If so, could you please provide a detailed explanation of the example control method and the expected output waveform?

    Regards,

    JH
