ADS9813: select sample clock

Part Number: ADS9813

Tool/software:

hi:

The datasheet of the ADS9813 states that the sampling clock input range is 3.1-8.1 MHz. How does this correspond to achieving a 2 MHz sampling rate for 8 ADCs?
If we require an effective sampling rate of 0.8 MHz, what should the external clock frequency be set to?

Best regards

  • Hi Chaofeng,

Thanks for your post. What kind of application are you using ADS9813 in?

The external clock must be 4x the desired sampling rate/CH. If one wants to sample at 2MSPS/CH, the external clock should be 8MHz. If you are needing 0.8MHz/CH sampling, the external clock should be set to 3.2MHz.

    Best regards,

    Samiha
