DAC121S101QML-SP: What is the bandwidth of this DAC?

We do not have bandwidth characterized for this device. Is the customer trying to produce a waveform of a specific frequency?

Yes, 50kHz to 150kHz. Will the device limit the bandwidth and cause distortion?

Hi Lauren, 

Is this a sine wave? How many points do they want per period, and what SCLK frequency are they using? There are 16 clock cycles per DAC update, so they can write a new DAC at a rate of 1.25MSPS (20MHz/16). 

The max number of points per period to get a 150kHz sine wave is 8. (1.25MSPS/150k). I don't see the output buffer having any issue with this speed, but an 8-point sine wave itself would cause a lot of distortion.
