Hi team,
Could you let me know why 480MHz OOK carrier frequency is not likely to affect the EMC radiation performance of AMC1303M2510?
Best regards,

Hi Itoh-san,
It will still affect the EMC radiation performance of AMC1303M2510, but compared to edge based, it transmits less energy over the isolation barrier.
The majority of radiation performance for modulators is related to the clock and data signals, a majority of the data transmission energy is canceled in far field.
Hi Alexander,
Thank you for your support.
But I don't understand a couple of points.
What does "edge based" stand for in this context?
Also, why the majority of the data transmission energy of OOK will be canceled in far end?
Best regards,
Kazuki Itoh
Hi Itoh-san,
Edge based is another communication style where there is always a pulse for a 1 or 0, as opposed to just a pulse for a 1. This means there is more energy sent across the isolation barrier and relates to higher radiated emissions.
Data goes from high side to low side, while clock goes from low side to high side. The energy that passes over the isolation barrier is well managed on the die and therefor does not radiated effectively.
