Tool/software:
Hi expert,
There are two output compliance questions from my customer, please help to conform. Very appreciate your reply.
- How to calculate the output common mode voltage according to the IOUTP, IOUTN and RL? Customer want to confirm if the common mode voltage is calculated at half the full scale current?
- Do we need to ensure that the common mode voltage + differential mode voltage of VOUTP/ VOUTN is less than the compliance voltage?
For example, VOUTP= 30mA x 25Ω = 750mV (-375mV to +375mV), VOUTN = 0mA x 25Ω = 0V (full scale), what's the common mode voltage between VOUTP and VOUTN (if the biggest common mode voltage is 375mV)? And does the voltage meet the output compliance request (peak voltage is 375mV and biggest common mode voltage is 375mV, so the biggest common mode voltage + peak voltage of VOUTP is 750mV and more than the 600mV request)?
Best Regards,
Ryker
