Could you provide a list of safety mechanisms for the mentioned ADC, along with guidance on which mechanisms should be configured for each ASIL level (A, B, C, and D)? If that's not available, a list of generic safety mechanisms based on ASIL ratings would also be helpful.

    Hi Mohammed,

    I'm not directly familiar with the ASIL classifications, but the ADS7038-Q1 does have a few safety features that might fall under that umbrella.

    For example, there is CRC for communications with CRC error options, autonomous monitoring features, channel ID flags on data out, brown-out reset detection, debug mode, and others.

    I suggest going through the register field descriptions for a thorough understanding of the various safety-related features the device has, and let me know if any stand out. I can provide any clarification into them.
