Hello Yoshii-san,
The AFE4490 does not support overlapping sample periods--the AFE4490 only contains one photodiode, so it cannot convert simultaneous samples since all samples are collected by the same photodiode.

Thank you for getting in touch.
I would also like to know the following.
I am referring to an AFE4490 that has been configured previously and is working correctly.
Will the AFE4490 be damaged by duplicate samples due to a configuration error?
If I revert to a previous setting, will it work correctly?
For example, if I make a mistake in the settings and duplicate samples.
After this, I turn off the power and return the settings to how they should work.
Will the AFE4490 be damaged as a result and no longer work correctly?
Hello Yoshii-san,
The AFE4490 should not be damaged by improperly overlapping sample periods, and should work correctly if reverted to previous settings. To initialize the registers in the AFE4490 to their default values, you can follow the instructions in Section 8.5.2.4 of the datasheet.

Payton
