Tool/software:
Hi team,
I am an analog FAE in auto Tier1 team. Here is a question about the line transient response of EVM board: f=2.2MHz, Vout=5V, DEMB mode. When I test the transient response, I found an interesting phenomenon: When Vin changes from 12V to 5V to 12V, Vout drops smoothly to 3.6V when Vin drop SR=0.2V/ms, but Vout drops suddenly to 0V and go back to 3.6V when Vin drop SR=10V/ms. The Vout dropout decreases when I increase the Vin_min from 5V to 6V.
I think the line transient response may have a solid connection with Vin_min and SR. But why for SR=10V/ms, Vout can drop to 0V and quickly go back to 3.6V? Could you give me some analyze advice about it? Also, if you have some material about line transient, please attach the link with your response.
Your response really matters to me. Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Siv Ma
