AFE4405: Help interpreting raw EDA Data from (presumably?) AFE4500 in Google Pixel Watch 3

Part Number: AFE4405
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4500

Tool/software:

Dear TI team,

I'm working with raw EDA / GSR data sourced Google Pixel Watch 3. While I can't seem to find out an exact description of the sensor, the sensor metadata indicates that Texas Instruments is the vendor.

From what I can tell, the AFE4500 might be the TI product used in this watch, though I would like to request your help for finding out which component is used here.

Further, I'd like to ask for guidance on how to interpret the raw sensor data. The samples I currently can read consist of 16 values, of which the latter 8 always seem to be zero. Specifically, I’m looking for clarification on the following:

  • What could be the format and unit of the raw EDA signal output?

  • Does TI provide any example data or processing pipelines for EDA acquisition using this sensor?

Any guidance or application notes related would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
