Tool/software:

I have connected ADS112C04 to raspberry pi 4 via i2c and I use i2cdetect -y 1 and ADS112C04 does not show up

I changed the i2c baurdrate from 400KhZ to 100Khz and not luck.

Other i2c devices are present

Please help

Can you provide logic analyzer captures of the communication between the ADC and your controller so we can review?

I have attached scope screen shot for i2c clock (IMG_1506.JPG) on pin 16 and i2c data(IMG_1507.JPG) on pin 15

SCLK

i2cdetect -y 0 still does not show any i2c devices! neither on Adafruit nor Raspberry PI

I need the correct pinout for this device

Hi Ramin Tavassoli,

What are you doing in these images? Also, we are not going to be able to offer much help if you only have a single-channel scope. We really need to see SDA and SCL on the same window. Using a logic analyzer would be better

RESET pin must be tied to Vcc

RDY pin must be pulled up hi via 1K resistors Then it works

Hi Ramin Tavassoli,

Yes, this makes sense. You cannot hold the ADC in RESET, or leave the RESET pin floating, and expect it to work
