TXS0108E: Output signal distortion

Tool/software:

From 1.8V to 3.3V, the input signal of A/B is normal and stable, but the output signal is distorted , the rise time is too long. What is the reason? The waveform of TX-E to RX_MCU and TX_MCU to RX-E are the same, but the output is distorted.

Hi CY,

Please refer to section 8.4 of the datasheet regarding best layout practices- the output waveforms suggest that the capacitance on the bus at the output side may be too high, and recommended to be reduced to provide better SI. This is essential in order to provide proper functionality of the internal one-shot architecture inside the TXS.
