Our current solution is to use a high-speed DAC (DAC39J82) and an operational amplifier (OPA818) to output voltage signals. We would like to add an additional circuit (an external small circuit board) to convert the voltage signal into a current signal, with a bandwidth of 500MHz.

Are there any additional details you could provide on the output current required. Will it be bipolar or unipolar? Also, the magnitude will be important. For really large current requirements, a larger power mosfet would likely be required which would make the bandwidth requirement extremely difficult.
