The ADCs ADS4229 and ADS4249 have ECCN 3A991.C.2 and 3A991.C.3, respectively. What exactly does this mean in practice, i.e. is there somewhere a list of countries which we won't be allowed to export to if we use one of these ADCs in our product? Do we perhaps need an export license?
What I've got so far is the statement "For most destinations, including China, 3A991 items can typically be exported without a license, except to embargoed or sanctioned countries". Unfortunately, "typically" is not good enough; I need a definite answer specific to these two ADCs.
Our products will be exported from Austria, if that matters.
