Dear TI Support Team,
I am a graduate student currently studying analog circuit design. I have a question regarding the datasheet of the DDC2256A device.
On the first page under the Features section, it is stated that the integration time can be as low as 58.8 μs, which corresponds to a data rate of 17 kSPS per channel. However, based on this integration time, I would expect the total system data rate to be 17 kSPS, not per channel. I find this point somewhat confusing and would like to ask for clarification.
I have also noticed that the datasheet for the more recent DDC3256 device describes the data rate in the same manner (i.e., with “per channel” specified).
Could you please confirm whether the “per channel” data rate is accurate, or if it might be a documentation oversight?
