LMP92066EVM: GUI Issues

Part Number: LMP92066EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY, LMP92066

Tool/software:

Hi, I have a LMP92066EVM and after installing the GUI, it wasn't working at all, not showing any graphics. I saw in a forum post that it was due to not supporting windows 10, but by installing .NET 3.5 you could make it work again. After doing so, the GUI now is functional but won't connect to the board correctly, giving this error:

The following error occured while initializing the device.
Error -26 occurred at USB2ANY.lvlib:Error Converter (ErrCode or Status).viPossible reason(s):Parameter is out of rangeComplete call chain:

  • Hi Jacob,

It looks like there's some issue with the USB2ANY initialization. Try installing the USB2ANY Explorer software and seeing if you can update the USB2ANY hardware.

    Thanks,
    Erin

  • I'm still seeing a -24 error when I use the USB2ANY Explorer software. I've verified that the LED is illuminated when it's plugged into the PC.

  • Hi Jacob,

If the USB2ANY explorer can't detect the USB2ANY, you may need to get a replacement. I would also recommend trying to test the USB2ANY explorer on a different computer, as I've known some computers not to work with the USB2ANY well.

Another thing you can try: There's a small hole on the case on the same side of the LED. This hole leads to a small button that is used for firmware updates. Try pressing this button when you open the device to see if you can prompt it into a firmware update.

    Thanks,
    Erin
