We are planning to run this part off 1.8V ( as per the data sheet this is ok since VDD_MIN=1.71V). Is it okay to provide the I2C signaling in 1.8V domain? ( signal will swing from 0V TO 1.8V). By looking at the data sheet this is not clear (see below picture). It says VIH minimum is 1.62V? But what is the maximum, is 1.8V ok? is 3V ok? etc, shouldn't there be a ma value too? does it depend on VDD?
