AFE4460EVM: Request for Reference Material on Decoding Different Phase Signals Using AFE4460 EVM

Part Number: AFE4460EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4460,

Tool/software:

Dear TI Support Team,

I am currently working with the AFE4460 EVM kit to collect SpO2 signals. I have accessed the available secure resource materials on your website; however, I could not find any references or documentation explaining how to properly decode the ADC output values.

Additionally, I have not come across any guidance or examples regarding driver implementation for handling multiple LED signals(Phases) and decoding them correctly. I have attempted to use the heart rate measurement configuration provided in the driver, but I have not been successful in detecting reliable SpO2 signals.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance, documentation, or example code you could provide to help address these concerns.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Priya.

  • Hello Priya,

All the available resources for the AFE4460EVM are found in the secure resources folder. Example code demonstrating how to decode the ADC output for the AFE4460 can be found in Section 7.3.6 of the data sheet, and in BASE_PROFILE6 in the Bio-Sensing GUI.

For any specific questions, or for help troubleshooting your AFE4460EVM setup, please email us at biosensing_afe-support@list.ti.com
