Hi,
I am Weston Willardson, an FAE intern at TI. I am working on a customer simulation Project who is building a medical patch with this schematic:
- Key Concerns:
–Single Use, water resistant worn 24/7
–Small form factor
–Simple Temperature Sensing
–Converted from Nordic to TI
–Target <$5
When going over this assignment. We saw that the AFE4900 had a big impact on the total price ($10.78). After looking into alternatives, we saw that the AFE49130 seemed like a good replacement, since it is only $3.15 compared to $10.78. It seems like it measures the same things except it has more diodes and photodiodes needed and only interfaces with I2C. Let me know your thoughts on if this is the best replacement, and if not what other options would you recommend? even if that include separating the part into multiple different parts?
