ADS8688: Ch7 has the same sampling value even there is no input on Ch7.

Hi TI experts,

  • My customer is using ADS8688 in PLC product for volltage sensing and met below two issues.
  1. Q1 is that when there is 5V input on ch6 and no input on ch7. Ch7 will have same value 4.97V with ch6.
  2. Q2 is that when there is 5V input on ch7 and no input on ch6. Ch7 will have 0.4V and ch6's value is 0V.
  • Issue rate is 3/50. 
  • Customer use manual scan mode of ADS8688. They will sample next channel after the sampling of last channel.
