ADC3910D125: NC pin config

Hi team,

The datasheet says NC pin should be connected to GND. Is it correct and does it means the NC pin shouldn't be floating?

There's typo for NC pin number in this table and the there's no connection from NC pin to GND in the schematic of EVM so the customer would like to double-check that just in case.

    Hi Morita,

    You are correct, this is labeled incorrectly. Pin 17 should be connected to ground. We are updating this in the next revision of the EVM as well.

    Hi Morita,

    Apologies, let me clarify: Pin 17 is actually llisted twice in the datasheet. Pin 17 is used for VREF. If you are using the ADC's internal reference, you should connect this pin to ground.

     

    The pin that you show above should be labeled pin 5 instead of pin 17, and it should be connected to ground.
