ADC12D1600RB: Select ADC for the application

Hello TI,

Its my first time working in the field of data acquisition and also new to TI world. As per my project requirement we would like to use ADC12D1000 with FPGA for the initial prototype. I found ADC12D1600RB dev board but that supports ADC12D1600. I looked into the datasheet of both the ADCs and they are kind of identical except the sampling rate. My naive questions are

1. What dev board you recommend if I want to use 1000 GSPS ADC?
2. If I am suppose to use above dev board, will 1600 GSPS ADC run easily at 1000 GSPS? Are there any specific configurations to be handled?
3. Are there any firmware design files for the FPGA that I can start to play around to understand it better?
