ADC3669EVM: Captured Data not showing up in HSDC Pro 5.31 64bit

Part Number: ADC3669EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSWDC155EVM

Tool/software:

Hi!

I want to capture data using both the ADC3669EVM and the TSWDC155EVM. Following the EVM User Guide, I opened HSDC and MSPS_FPGA_Server and successfully configured the ADC via the ADC3669EVM GUI. I can start a capture, and the files 'samples.csv' and 'samples.bin' are saved in the Documents folder. However, the FFT doesn't appear in HSDC as the guide suggests.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks

  • Hi Tobias,

Do you have the wrong channel in use? Can you send us a screenshot of both channels please?

Lastly, can you send us a quick sketch of your test setup? I would include model number and signal levels of the signal generators that are being used.

    Thanks,

    Rob

  • The Problem is, that the HSDC Pro doesn't start properly. It is stuck showing the Splash screen and an error code 1003 is displayed:
Invoke Node in TSW1400.lvlib:Startup Splash Screen.vi
    <APPEND>
    VI Path: <b>C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro\High Speed Data Converter Pro.exe\HPA\HSP\Data Converters\Projects\TSW1400\EVM GUI 64bit\Frame.vi</b>

In the main window there is an error: Missing subVI NI_MAPro.lvlib: Multitone Generator.vi in VI TSW1400.lvlib:Frame.vi

I tried updating and reinstalling the labview runtime. This is a fresh win 11 24h2 install. I tried 23h2 as well.

  • Hi Tobias,

Can you try a fresh computer that have never had Labview installed on it?

There might a contention with a previous Labview version installed.

    Regards,

    Rob

  • Hi Rob,

It's working on a different computer. Thank you for your help.
