DAC39J84: PRBS Test Configuration

Part Number: DAC39J84

Tool/software:

Hello TI Support,
          I am unable to get the PRBS test working as
          a) Either the test is always passing (even when I am sending the wrong PRBS pattern) or
          b) Always failing.

          I suspect it has to do with the Lanes enabled bits in Config74 register.

          Can you help confirm if there is a need to set the lane enable bits in Config74 during PRBS tests?

          My register configurations for the PRBS tests are as below:

          Config4 = 0xFFFF # Mask out all alarms
          Config74 = 0x001E # Place JESD in RESET state and INIT_STATE
          Config73 = 0x0000 # Assign all lanes to Link 0
          Config61 = 0x1088 # Alternating 0/1 2UI test
          Config62 = 0x0108 # Disable character alignment
          Config27 = 0x0003 # Test lane 0 and enable TESTFAIL Alarm

          Any help provided is appreciated.

          Thank you.

Regards,
Tai
