Similar to the related question, I am now wondering if we can connect the ADS127L18 FSDP output to an AM263 OSPI port. The basis of our thinking is that OSPI accepts 4 data lanes (we are daisy chaining, so can only have 4 DOUTs) and also a loopback clock which we'd connect to DCLK. FSYNC would run to a GPIO.

Hello Dylan,

We have example code that shows how to interface the ADS127L18 frame-sync port to a SPI port configured in 3-wire, peripheral mode. You can extend this to as many data lanes as needed, assuming the processor has enough SPI ports to support.

Taking a quick look at the AM263P4, it appears only channel 0 can support peripheral mode, so this may not be possible. I suggest posting directly to the AM263P4 forum to confirm if OSPI (or any other peripheral on the AM263P4) can support multi-lane SPI with each lane configured as a 3-wire peripheral.
