AMC131M03: Use in higher speed power converter application

We are debating the use of the AMC131M03 versus multiple discrete AMC1350 & AMC1302 for AC voltage and current sensing on the line side of a power converter with switching frequencies around 30Khz.  

All the references designs/application information on the AMC131M03 appears to be geared towards metrology applications.  We are a bit concerned that perhaps the AMC131M03 is not intended for closed loop control because of delays on getting the data from the SPI bus (compared with discrete TI solutions all tying directly to ADC or SDFM peripherals).

Do you have any thoughts on the application and its viability?  We would prefer the AMC131M03 if possible because of its cost effectiveness.

    As you mentioned, the AMC131M0X is geared towards lower frequency applications with high accuracy needs, such as metrology.  The data rate it can output is 64kSPS, so it wouldn't be able to measure a 30kHz signal with good granularity (the measurement would be very averaged out).

    We have some newer parts that are lower cost that may be more suitable for the application.  The AMC03xx series is a new lower cost set of devices (AMC0302 and AMC0330 might be good candidates).
