AMC7834: IC communicating rarely

Tool/software:

AMC7834 is not setting the DAC. whenever I turn off and on the board, same code but not working sometimes . when checked for device id it is not coming. Why? Anyone faced this? Even though IC is working other times it is not behaving correctly. Please someone help in this.

Hi Thamil,

Check to see if your SPI communication is correct. The data should be latching on the rising edge of SCLK, if it's not that could cause intermittent operation. When you power on the device make sure to set the power mode to active mode.

Thanks Erin. This is solved the reset pin was not programmed and hence it behaved like abnormal logic and it reset the device for long and this was main reason.
