ADS131M02-Q1: why ADS131M02-Q1 is cheaper than ADS131B02-Q1, and the further differences

Part Number: ADS131M02-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS131B02-Q1,

Tool/software:

Dear team,

while our customer ask us to provide cheaper device comparing to ADS131B02-Q1 and then we found ADS131M02-Q1.

May I know why the price of  ADS131M02-Q1 is lower, even ADS131M02-Q1 provides the higher sampling rate?

could BU site let us know the further comparison between these two PADCs?

Best regards,

Hank Lin

  • Hi Hank,

the ADS131B02-Q1 has a different input buffer which offers higher input impedance and helps to achieve better offset performance. The device also integrates an oscillator, so that no external clock is required to operate the device.

The ADS131B02-Q1 is usually a better fit for current shunt sensing applications in BMS from a performance perspective.
