My customer is considering switching from the AD7682 to the ADS131A04.
While the AD7682 is a SAR-type ADC with a multiplexer (MUX) switching architecture, the ADS131A04 is a delta-sigma ADC that supports simultaneous sampling.
I believe the ADS131A04 has an advantage in terms of data transmission speed.
However, since delta-sigma ADCs generally have higher latency compared to SAR ADCs, I would like to understand how significant the difference in latency is when comparing these two devices.
