I can work on getting the schematics for you, but you cannot use the ADC12QJ1600 user guide, that is a different EVM altogether.

The GUI may work in some instances but not in all cases.

Yep those look more like it thanks!  What did you mean by the GUI may/may not work?  I would assume if I use the USB input and switch the jumper I should be able to control the ADCs by the GUI.  Do I need to access it via the FMC? 

ok looks like they got rid of the clock chips and the ADCs are programmed via U17 with some default stored in eeprom.  That at least explains why I see the GUI configure and the PLLs in the ADCs lock.  I cannot however change anything it seems using the clock programmer GUI interface (ADC12QJ1600 RD GUI v1.2).  So I guess the only option is FMC?

Yes the ADCs are programmed via usb using the FTDI device. The eeprom does not store any default configuration for the ADC or clocking chips all configurations comes from the USB. This is how the GUI interfaces to the board, not through FMC.

Thanks Eric.  I was referring to programming the ADCs through the FMC.  The reason is that the ADCs do not seem to program correctly via the GUI so I am looking for alternatives.  It seems that I can program something and the PLLs lock but not at the frequency I am expecting.  If I try to change various values via the GUI nothing seems to happen.

Hi Eric,
This is how I am setting the GUI.  When I have J19 installed (FMC) it says the PLL are locked but I can't change the freq because I dont send anything over the FMC so they must be in a default state?  When I uninstall J19 and try to use the GUI, it looks like I can program the clocks (to something but not what I expect) but the PLLs never lock.  I am trying to get FPGA_GBTCLK0/1_FMC_P/N at the FMC which is from TRIG_OUT .
