My customer is considering ADS131A04 for load cell(Bridge Sensor) application and has a question.
I would be grateful if you could advise.

Can a simultaneous sampling ΔΣ ADC (ADS131A04) be used for load cells?
The datasheet states that its main use is as a power meter.
From the perspective of load cells, my considerations are as follows:
- The AD converter has good noise characteristics.
- The gain is digital rather than PGA, so external amplification is required.
- The offset drift is large, but this is not a problem as the effect of the external amplifier is dominant.
- An external reference input is possible, so a ratiometric configuration is possible.
- The output rate is fast, but this is not a problem as digital filtering is performed by the microcontroller.
Please let me know if there are any points I should be aware of.
Could you please provide any reference designs or reference materials you have?
