Hi TIer
Can DAC60501 satisfy 0.1% accuracy over the full output range?
Thank you very much.
Hi Tony,
The DAC itself has 0.1% max TUE over the whole range. The reference will have additional error. It is 0.1% initial error and 10ppm/C drift. You can use an external reference with smaller error and drift.

Hi Katlynne
You mean customer have to use external reference to get high accuracy?
We have internal reference in DAC60501 , Do we calculate the initial error and drift in TUE in datasheet?
I don't see this error include in TUE calculate formula.
Customer more prefer use internal reference.
Could you help me check?
Thank you very much.
Hi Tony,
In our datasheets TUE is always calculated without the internal reference. The TUE we measure is a reflection of the DAC performance.
Our internal reference is 0.1% initial accuracy (at room temp) with 10ppm/C drift. You could add the reference error to our TUE number by TUE+ref = sqrt(0.001^2+0.001^2) = 0.141%. You could also include the drift.
If you can find a better reference, then yes, the total system performance will have better accuracy.
