ADS1220: fail AIN0 and AIN1 in ADS1220

Tool/software:

We using ADS1220 for read Resistive Bridge Measurement at AIN0 and AIN1, and read proper data. In one case from customer site after work within one month we got fail AIN0 and AIN1 channel in ADS1220 even external back to back diode use. So please help to get solution for the same. Our application, we measure plastic mould part weight.

    Would you be able to provide a schematic of how the ADS1220 is used in your system?

    How was your customer using your system at the time of failure? 

    What inputs were going into the ADS1220 at the time of failure?

    Can you further define the failure? Does it relate to the accuracy of the system?

    We send more than 100 card to our customer site(plastic moulding machine weighing application) and it working, but in 3-4 case we got fail ADS1220 .

    - schematic of how the ADS1220 is used in my system, use in weighing scale application 5VDC supply for loadcell. As per schematic we connect two loadcell to ADS1220 via 74HC4052 and use BAT54S for protection purpose in channel

    How was your customer using your system at the time of failure? 

    - Replace card and working OK.

    What inputs were going into the ADS1220 at the time of failure?

    - Card working with 24VDC supply and we give generated 5VDC to loadcell excitation.

    Can you further define the failure? Does it relate to the accuracy of the system?

    - We measure internal ref it working, only AIN0 and AIN1 not sense

    Thank you for the schematic and further information. Please see my questions below. 

    Can you provide the full ADS1220 register settings?

    What does AIN0 and AIN not sensing mean? Does that mean the output is 0V? Does that mean that you are measuring 1V and the output is 2V?

    Can you highlight with Jumpers that are connected? 

    The schematic looks like it is measuring an RTD, is the system measuring a bridge or an RTD?

    How did you determine the ADC1220 had failed, rather than the MUX?
