Hi,

We are designing a reflect array antenna which has varactor diode tunable meta elements for a LEO orbit space application. The design requires a control circuitry to bias the 4096 meta-elements (Biasing requires tuning voltage between -10V to -1V). We are planning to use a DAC 

  • Control and Power Electronics: Distributed control circuitry for biasing and managing the 4096 meta-elements, along with power supply modules and system interfaces. The control circuitry is designed to control the voltage applied to the varactor diode, thereby adjusting its capacitance to achieve the desired beam steering for antenna array.

Could you please help if we have equivalent to the above mentioned part DAC60096 96-Channel meeting space grade.

    Hi Rudresh,

    We do not have a specific -SP or -SEP grade of the DAC60096.  Our existing portfolio would direct you to the AFE11612-SEP as a relatively high-density DAC.  We have had some success with customer's self-qualifying our high-density controllers.  I can give more detail over email, if you would like to reach out at frost@ti.com.
