Hello,

Evaluating ADCs for a new design and I would like to know if i can interface directly the ADC3663EVM with a Xilinx AC701 Eval board.

From the ADC3663EVM schematic (DC134, REV E), I see that the FMC H2 signal is grounded which disconnects the JTAG TDO signal on the AC701 but the signals D30/31 are tied together which should solve the JTAG problem. Is that correct? and if it is that would mean that I could use my AC701 board to interface with your ADC3663EVM board, correct?

Another option was the ADS9219EVM, but it was pointed out in the forum that JTAG problem with another Xilinx Eval Board KC705. Is that going to be fix in a new ADS9219EVM revision?

Please post the ADC3663EVM schematic you are referring to. We have recently updated this EVM and want to make sure we are working from the same reference.

Hi Jose,

Do you already have an ADC3663EVM? or are you looking at the schematics to determine which EVM to buy?

If you already have the EVM, please confirm it is indeed Rev E and send us a picture of the board.
If you have not yet purchased an EVM, we have actually just made a new revision of this board, Rev G. This is the revision of the EVM that you would recieve if you were to order an ADC3663EVM today. Both revisions of the ADC3663EVM should work with your FPGA devkit.

I am not sure about the ADS9219EVM, as that device is covered by a different group. If you would like to inquire about this EVM as well, you can create a new post with part number ADS9219EVM and it will be assigned to the group which covers this device.
