ADS1299: enabling positive and negative lead off for calculating continuous impedance values for EEG streaming with AC lead off

Part Number: ADS1299

Tool/software:

Hello everyone,

I'm slightly new to the ADS1299 for EEG space. I've current configured my setup to continuously stream my EEG data successfully, but am struggling with impedance calculation. There doesn't seem to be any recent tutorial, and my point of struggle has been to enable the lead off detection. When I read the status from my config3 file, it shows as 0x00 for both positive and negative. Having followed this OpenBCI tutorial (http://eeghacker.blogspot.com/2014/04/openbci-measuring-electrode-impedance.html) mentioned in previous TI forum posts, I'm unable to accurately read the impedance even within the +/- 20% range that exists. My hardware setup includes using the internal ground, and internal reference, and am streaming to a raspberry pi compute module 4 via SPI.

Thank you for your help.
