Hi,

I have selected ADS7056IRUGR as an alternative to LTC2313ITS8-14. However, ADS7056IRUGR has Latency.

Could you please introduce a product that meets the following specifications and has Zero Latency?

<Specifications>

14bit, 2MSPS or more, SPI, smaller than LTC2313ITS8-14, built-in Reference, single-ended

    Hi Nishie,

    I will consult with my team on what might be acceptable. In general, I believe the SPI interface will introduce latency since the conversion is being sent serially. Parallel interfaces should have lower latency.

    To begin with, are you able to share what system you are building that requires low latency? In terms of "zero latency" devices, the ADS7891 looks to be the most fitting in description.

    Thank you for introducing Parallel products.

    However, the customer wants SPI communication, and if possible, the same as the current product. Is there a product with zero latency and data timing for SPI communication?

    Hello,

    Apologies for the delay on this thread. Unfortunately, the SPI interface introduces some delay between when the conversion is sampled and when it is available for reading, therefore I don't believe there is anything truly "zero latency".

    Are there any other requirements you can help provide? Are there any other alternatives they are open to?
