ADS131A02: any plans to offer this part in a different package

Hi,

I am considering this part for a new design however I don't have much board space at my disposal. Is there any plan to offer this part in a different package such as a QFN 5x5 mm? The body size of the TQFP is 5x5 mm but with the pins includes the package outline is 7x7 mm.

Hi James,

we do unfortunately not have any plans right now to release ADS131A02 in a smaller package.
In case it fits your application requirements, you could look at ADS131M02 which is available in a 3x3mm QFN-20.

Hi Joachim,

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, the ADS131M02 does not have the option for an external reference, which is also a requirement for my design. However, I will consider using another instance of the ADS131M06, which I'm already using on this design, even though this specific use case requires only 2 channels.
