TLV2541: Junction temperature allowed where all functionality is guaranteed

Part Number: TLV2541

Hi Team, customer may need some clarification on our recommended settings.

TLV2541ID. This part has abs junction rating of 150. what is the junction temperature allowed where all functionality is guaranteed? It has an ambient rating of 85C but i need the operating junction temperature for full functionality and the junction to board thermal resistance.

    Hi Mark,

    Max operating junction temp is taken at maximum operating ambient temp (85°C), and assumes maximum power dissipation (max current draw, max operating voltage).

    For this D package: R_θJA = 134.8°C/W, R_θJC(top) = 70.4°C/W, and R_θJB = 81.9°C/W. 

    Therefore, considering R_θJA,  Vmax = 5.5V, and Imax = 1.5mA, max operating junction temp is ~86.112°C.
