Hi Teams,

The customer is currently developing a bus voltage detection circuit. According to the datasheet description, a matching resistor equal to the detected resistor is connected in series in the low-end input of the differential input. Do other protective circuits need to be added to this differential input (such as diodes to prevent overvoltage from clamping)? Can RC be added to the input section?

Hi Vayne,

It may be simpler to instead use the AMC1336 that higher a higher input impedance, lower input bias current to avoid this R3' compensation resistor.

Diodes are typically not recommended due to the additional leakage they will introduce, impacting accuracy. I see they already have an RC filter on the input.
