AMC1305M25: The issue of chip usage

Part Number: AMC1305M25
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1305F25

The actual part number is AMC1305F.
1.  Regarding the rising edge and the falling edge, the measured data is generated at the falling edge.  There is a contradiction in the specification book.  So, which one should it be?
2.  How to understand TD - does it mean that the delay on the line cannot exceed this value?

  • Hi Tony,

tD is the time it takes from the falling CLOCK edge until output data is valid.  The AMC1305F25 shows tD to be from 0-15nS.  That gives you at least 10nS of setup time to read valid output data on the rising clock edge.  Data should be considered valid by the digital filter unit on the rising clock.
