ADS7138: ADS7138IRTER analog inputs outputting a high pulse at power-up prior to I2C initialization

Hello, 

I'm using the ADS7138IRTER (8-channel SAR ADC) in my design. As soon as I power it up, prior to any I2C initialization, I notice a high pulse on all 8 AIN inputs, coming from the ADC pins. This pulse matches up and is in-sync with AVDD waveform and is causing some signal collisions in my circuit at power-up. Any clues why this might be happening?
