Hello Team,
I am confused with the headroom spec of DAC11001B.
On the datasheet, it says headroom/footroom spec to be 5V.
However, if we set Vcc and VREF to be below, then we will be only be able to get 3V of head/footroom.
V_REFPF to V_REFNF: 30V
Vcc-Vss: 36V
Is this any typo on the datasheet?

This is not a typo on the datasheet, the headroom/footroom is limited to 5V to either positive or negative supply. This is mentioned in the datasheet as part of the footnotes of the electrical characteristics table showing VREFPF/VREFNF pairs of 0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V, and ±10V. Here the ±15V operation is not listed.
I also noticed an E2E post on this subject, asking about ±18V supplies and ±15V output swing. The response was at that configuration, the device performance was not specified because of the headroom and footroom requirement. For that level of operation, the device can be operated with a ±5V full-scale output swing, but you can use 3x gain using an external op-amp. Here's a link to the e2e post:
