ADS8671: Small Package

Hi,

Is there a product in a smaller package than the ADS8671 that satisfies the following specifications with the conversion timing and no latency similar to the figure below? I am looking for a replacement for the LTC2313ITS8-14 and would like a product in a smaller package with similar specifications.

    Hi Nishie, 

    The ADS7056 will be the best cross to the LTC2313-14. It has similar performance and its about 75% smaller then the LTC2313 device. I provided a simple comparison below.

    Thank you for your support.

    Some customers use intermittent operation (samples A and A+1 are not sampled continuously). In this operation, the data output after sampling A+1 should be A+1. I thought the ADS7056 could not do this operation. Is it actually possible?

    The LTC2313-14 can do this operation, and this operation is important in the customer design.

    Also, do you have a product that meets the requirements so far and supports AVDD and DVDD=5V?

    Hi Nishie-san, 

    The ADS8671 or ADS7883(12-bit, 3MSPS, small 6-pin SOT23 package) are the best crosses in this case.

    Am I correct in understanding that there is no product in a smaller package than ADS8671 when 14bit is required?

    Hi Nishe-san, 

    That is correct, the smallest device is the ADS7056, but as previously discussed that device won't work.
